Please Close Veeam One Monitor and Try Again

unable to update Veeam Ane Monitor Client automatically
Good forenoon all together,
just a pocket-sized issue so I would ask here first instead of creating a ticket.
I installed Veeam I Patch yesterday and my local client of Veeam One Monitor is unpatched at the moment.
When I try to login into the client it offers me to update automatically just goose egg happens afterward clicking "OK". No setup, no transfer (similar with Veeam Backup Console).
There is no departure if I try to login with Ambassador or my personal user account
Anybody else seeing this behaviour?

Aye, Veeam I Monitor Client has to be updated manually as its current code is not compatible with GA version of the server (due to lots Monitor Client performance optimizations made in update i):
Release Notes wrote:This update should exist applied to the Veeam ONE server, besides as remote systems with the Veeam One Monitor Client.

Hello!
I am trying to upgrade the Monitor Client to Update 1, only the install stops with the message "Veeam ONE nine.0 Update 1 cannot be installed. Please close Veeam One Monitor customer and try once again.". Pretty straight forwards, just problem is I don't have the Monitor Customer started and then in that location is nix to close...
Running Windows x, this client not in the same domain as the Veeam ONE server configured in the settings of the client.

I have three services running, since I also have the VBR Remote Client installed:
Veeam Information Mover Service
Veeam Installer Service
Veeam Mount Service
Same behaviour regardless of services running or stopped.

I had the aforementioned problem.
There were ii other processes named "monitor.exe". After killing them the .exe installer was able to complete the installation

Sad for a late reply. I was running the downloaded VeeamONE_9.0.0.2088_Update1.exe from my computer when I had the trouble. Just, as for others above, killing Monitor.exe solved the problem.

I've been trying the auto-update all day, rebooting my PC, trying other things (suspending AV protection) . . . even logged a support telephone call. Now but found this, and all is working perfectly.
Mayhap there could have been a ReadMe file with the update exe to explain this?

We usually create KB articles instead, the same page where you lot ordinarily get the installation file.
Nonetheless, allow`due south see if more than people think we need to provide readme.txt

I would agree with this. After rebooting twice and then googling for this issue, I finally figured out that monitor.exe was my issue likewise (not VeeamOne monitor, but another awarding). Perhaps the installer could be a little more specific when checking for conflicts? The description of the file in job manager, too as the location information technology was launched from was very much non the aforementioned as the VeeamOne monitor awarding.

Hi all!
Same problem equally GL@MO - unable to update Veeam ONE Monitor Customer automatically to Update ane (v9). Zip happens later on clicking "OK". After manually run VeeamONE_9.0.0.2088_Update1.exe everything fine.
Is it normal?
