Vineyard Vines teams up with Target, just in time for the summertime

Vineyard Vines and Target (TGT) are teaming up.

Between May 18th and July 13th, the popular preppy wearing apparel brand that got its start in Martha's Vineyard volition partner with Target to launch a new collection, both in stores and online.

The brand'south new release will offer over 300 items, including many that will be a first for Vineyard Vines. It will offer options for the entire family, with items ranging from men and women'southward clothing, to home and outdoor decor - and fifty-fifty something for your pets.

The collection, which runs the gamut on sizes for men, women and children, will be priced betwixt $2-$120, with most items under the $35 marking.

The Target partnership represents "a smashing opportunity for us to really welcome more than people into our brand that don't know us as a household name," Vineyard Vines co-CEO Ian Murray told YFi PM in an interview terminal week.

Co-CEO Shep Murray added that putting their clothes in the retail behemothic'south shops "allowed [us] to enter new categories that our brand hasn't been in before, and it'due south been exciting to see the potential of our make hope."

In addition, the Target tie-up lets Vineyard Vines aggrandize its offerings into domicile appurtenances and pet products, areas where Murray sees growth potential.

"It'due south a great opportunity for us to try new production category," he told Yahoo Finance.

"We listened to our customers, and there's been a big demand for domicile goods...then this was a great opportunity for us to offer people access to that and meet what the response is."

Growth

In fact, Vineyard Vines is expanding at a time when many retail companies are seeing slowing sales. Murray explained that "the motto of our company is 'Everyday should feel this good.'"
